Anooraq and Anglo Platinum Report Results of Lebowa Technical Review

May 14, 2008, Vancouver, BC ― Anooraq Resources Corporation (“Anooraq” or the “Company”) (TSXV: ARQ; NYSE Amex: ANO; JSE: ARQ) announces that, together with Anglo Platinum Limited (“Anglo Platinum”) (referred to collectively as “the parties”), it has completed the technical review of Lebowa Platinum Mine (“Lebowa”) reported in the November 14, 2008 news release. The technical review was undertaken as a joint initiative between the parties resulting from the material decline in global economic conditions and commodity markets during the second half of 2008.
